Welcome to IWAENC 2005
Welcome to the ninth biennial International Workshop on Acoustic Echo and Noise Control (IWAENC).
The organization of this workshop reflects the close co-operation between the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven (TU/e), The Netherlands, and the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL), Belgium. Moreover, to strengthen the interaction with industry we are glad that Philips Research Laboratories (PRL), The Netherlands, strongly participated in the workshop organization.
We hope that this ninth IWAENC will be as successful as all previous ones. Given the excellent program, invited keynote and lecture speakers, poster and demonstration sessions, and the superb facilities of the conference center "The Strip", we feel that this is certainly feasible.
This workshop has been made possible thanks to the selfless effort of all organization committee members. We also extend our thanks to the IEEE Benelux Signal Processing Chapter for co-sponsoring the workshop. Philips Research Laboratories is acknowledged for making available the conference center "The Strip".
