The analysis of direct and reflected wavefronts performed with high spatial resolution along a line array provides a lot of information about sound propagation in an enclosure. This paper introduces a graphical representation of impulse responses which allows the identification of low-order reflections arriving at the array. A comparison with the image-method simulation applied in the case of a simple "shoe-box" room leads to acoustic maps enabling 3D localization of a loudspeaker emitting a probing signal. The approach is then extended to the case of uncontrolled sources, in which the Phase Transform is considered to derive information about multiple arrivals.
